5 Tips for an Unforgettable Valentine's Day

Are you ready to celebrate Valentine's Day? If you're thinking about how to make it special and unforgettable, read on and put these tips into practice.

Valentine's Day is a great opportunity to show your partner and/or your friends how special they are and how much they mean to you. You don't need to buy an expensive gift to express how you feel. Here are some practical ideas about what you can do for this Valentine's Day:

5 Tips for an Unforgettable Valentine's Day
  1. Design an original card, and make it yourself. Use your imagination and try using many different materials. You can simply make a nice drawing of your partner's (or your friend's) favorite cartoon character or even a creative collage using cardboard hearts, colored buttons, and natural or artificial flowers.
  2. Make an "album of memories." Include photos of important or funny moments you've shared. Add quotes, poems, or phrases that are meaningful to both of you and be creative to decorate the album.
  3. If you have a partner, make him/her a compact disc (CD) with romantic songs you both enjoy or that remind you of a special moment. Try to choose songs that are meaningful to both of you and to your relationship.
  4. Think of a gift that relates to his/her favorite hobby. Sometimes it can be hard to choose a nice gift, but thinking of something the other person likes to do will make the task much easier.
  5. Prepare a delicious, romantic dinner by candlelight. We suggest this healthy and tasty menu:
