People generally pay too much attention to the numeric value of their weight. Many even make the mistake of talking about their ideal weight according to standardized tables based on their height. It shouldn't be this way. More important than achieving some perfect number, is reaching and maintaining a weight that is healthy for you. A healthy weight makes us look great and allows us to feel better. It helps us to remain disease-free, and to manage lasting health conditions such as diabetes or hypertension.

Once you discover the weight that's right for you, it's important to learn the correct method to measure your weight.
